Read my lips folks: Bad sh*t happens when you do this.īottom line: From my Goodreads review: “All this come together to form a mystery that was very readable- while chock full of characters that could have taken a long walk off a short cliff for all I cared about □ ” In the end, it’s a good book, but not a GREAT book. Also, further reminder of WHY I will not be going to the middle of the absolute NOWHERE for a friend get-together. A phone line that mysteriously quits working. In A Dark, Dark Wood def has appeal- but it’s def not my favorite. I’ve liked some way better than others- and all that I’ve read (I still have to read Turn of the Key) have been somewhere in the “good” category- some are just better than others. I’ve honestly been hit and miss with Ruth. And so I grabbed In a Dark, Dark Wood to read at a later date. Over the summer I realized as I was walking through Target that I had all but one of Ruth Ware’s books. Not since Nora walked out of school one day and never went back. Traveling With T purchased this for her own reading time.
